I made my first contact tonight. I have talked local 50- 75 miles but never this far. good conditions finally got here. It wasn't anything special. I am in central wv and i talked to missouri barefoot. I am using a galaxy 2547 base with a maco 5/8 antenna.

Congrats!
Listen for "the triple four in San Jose CA, the Central Gold Coast - with a wave" tomorrow on ch 28/AM or 38/LSB.
Might be a decent chance to talk tomorrow - too.

Skip has been in today; you may make more contacts tomorrow.

Be ready...

I made my first contact since getting back into CB radio yesterday afternoon. I talked to Nebraska and Missouri from central Mississippi. I had forgotten how much fun talking skip could be.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
