Does height matter if ya have a Maco 3 element on the flat side just above the peak?

Height matters regardless of what the type of antenna is or the polarization of it. the higher the antenna the better it will perform especially on long haul contacts. having said that as long as it clears the peak it should work decent. Anything else is all just relative.
