This is a late 1970's , early 1980's Palomar TX-100 ....
It belonged to a very good friend of mine's father. He brought it to me about 8 months ago . He said to do what I wanted to with it, that is is mine to keep .....
I have just recently completely refurbished the amplifier ....
1) ... Power wire upgrade
2) ... Two new relays, main relay and receive pre-amp relay.
Receive pre-amp circuit was not working. I repaired with new transistor and added biasing diode and
resistor. Rewired with new micro-relay. Works very good now.
3) ... Three new switches, heavy duty 20A
4) ... Replaced all internal wiring with upgraded teflon insulated wire.
5) ... Replaced keying transistor and capacitor .....

This is a low drive amplifier.
I tested and operated this amplifier with a Galaxy DX959 transceiver set at a 2 1/2 watt AM dead key.
The amplifier dead keys at 80 ~ 85 watts, and will deliver up to 190 watts PEP ..... with modulation.

I own 2 of them . One I'm trying to use for my G90 but it will not operate the relay. I'll sell the other one
