Four pine wire harness, five pin plug

I have an SRA-158-4H, a four pin plug came on the microphone.
It needs to be wired 5 pin to work on a Grant XL/148, can I get by with the 4 wire pig tail?

I'm thinking I don't need to change out the pig tail as a 4-to-5 pin adapter will work, but I'm not sure.
I don't need the pin-out or wire color code, I will figure it out, I just need to understand if a fifth wire needs to be "in circuit" for the conversion to happen.
Thank you!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
