I got a Grant LT, and got a Galaxy FC-347 external freq counter for it.

Can anyone provide details on wiring the counter up to the Grant LT PB-208 board?

I know I need to connect to the VCO output, ground, USB and LSB, as well as 12vdc, etc, but I don't have clear understanding of where I can tap these points (test points, etc).

I have connected freq counters to other radios, but I had better alignment procedures to follow. There is not a lot of info online for the Grant LT (I do have some info from CBTricks, but more detailed info is needed).

When I tried the other night, I had 12vdc to the counter, and thought I had the VCO, but the counter was reading 46.3825 mhz, or something close to that.(didn't realize immediately the radio was tuned to 27.8xx mhz- xtra channels).

Figured I was tapping at the wrong point, so I stopped there.

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks
