Yeah it still gives reasonable readings, but now I'm all paranoid I threw it off. I buy stock radios and it gives pretty close readings. I guess if I fried it the counter it wouldn't even work.

Anything with the Fluke name on it is generally associated with being high quality and durable, you should be A-okay.
If you have doubts about your sample method or counter you may be able to find someone in your area with a freq. counter to verify one of your radios alignment.
