the FRS GMRS radios r good to have for disneyland reno and other places. we have a simplex repeater on GMRS 21 . I think duplex sounds better. Simplex repeater comes good and handy. I am trying to put up a simplex repeater for FRS.
 

i like the idea of having a repeater on gmrs or frs. but, do the repeaters have to abide by the same max power ratings like the radios do? seems kinda pointless to have a repeater doing only 50w on gmrs or 1/2w on frs?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
