I used this mobile for 10m operation in my Carolla for a few years. It works great.

Other than being expanded for frequency/TX, it is original and unmolested.

I never got around to changing the display bulb to LED like its recommended but it maybe saw an hour of use per week being the 3rd vehicle. I prefer my Tundra what can I say. Besides having my big boy radios, I always say. What you save at the pump, you'll spend in the emergency room!

Anyhow.

Original mic. Up/down works.

Radio is tuned to drive a small dual final class B biased amplifier but could have the output turned up. Right now about 15-20 watts SSB and 2 watt carrier on AM.

Original MRF477 finals.

No mods Other than it being operable on the CB band..

Power cord has 50 amp Anderson Connector.

Rig, mic & power cord. No mounting bracket as I ran it over in the driveway the other day. Yeah. Good times.

Figure 30$ for proper shipping.

Make me an offer if you're interested.

I've never used the 2600 before. I imagine it's even better. These radios, or this one anyhow is shockingly well suited for mobile use. Sensitive yet very low noise floor and really stable.

Where or how do the 2600 rigs beat these as for practical every day use.

Is a 2600 worth putting on the try list if you don't use 10m FM repeaters?

I understand the HTX-100 uses a 3khz filter vs the 5khz in these which is noticeable they say.
