Has variable. Pre-amp works as well.
Has factory yellow and black wire on back (about 8-10") with fuse holder in line.

Never pushed hard. Used for short qso on SSB and some AM. Has aftermarket knob, was on when I bought it. Had for about 8 months.

My 18 month old son went back home. Had time to open it up finally for pics. HG 2SC2879.
