Your best bet is probably the service manual if those two sites didn't have it. Is there a yahoo group set up for that radio? Someone there probably knows...

Is there a place to find this info?



I saw a couple websites that show how to get to them, but it only shows how to get the radio to have "general" coverage of all bands.



I may just have to get a copy of a service manual, & see if it's mentioned in there.



The place I found it is on the QRZ.com & mods.dk sites. They show you how to access the extra menus there.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
