The best two radios Yaesu ever made FT-990 and FT1000D. Was just wanting to know how many out here have owned or talked on one? I haven't found ANYTHING that sounds as good. I hope the NEW FT-9000D Is up to The same Yaesu standards. Anyway just wanted to know how many 1000D owners out here.

I had the Yaesu FT-100D before I got my license and was "stuck on 11 meter" not knowing all that the radio could do I sold the FT-100D and bought a 2970 DX <img src=http://home.comcast.net/~shockwav/simpson_518.gif ALT=":hmr">



Live and learn I miss that rig

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
