i just received my fgps1 unit along with the RT systems cable for my radio. i have installed the gps unit in the rig and everything is working fine. now i want to use the RT systems cable to connect my laptop(running UIview32) and the rig. i want to use UIview to show the received packets(as text and on map) and also to send beacons from the laptop to RF? is this all possible? if not all which parts?

FTM350AR and UIView32

You can't access the TNC on the FTM-350 from UI-View, which means the UI-View functionality is greatly limited. You should be able to view the stations received by the FTM-350 on UI-View, but you won't be able to digipeat, i-gate, etc.
BTW, it's far easier to setup and display the received FTM-350 APRS data on the APRSIS application.
