I had a bad coax connector!! I finally built another G5RV and ran coax to the new feeder and nothing. I got to unsoldering connectors and I found a short, a bad one. What puzzled me was that I checked the coax with my multimeter and it didnt show up. I had the meter set to sound an audible tone. Well anyways i am happy for now. I installed the new G5RV on a 35ft pole and now my tower needs to be reworked. That darn NM wind has tore everything up but my Maco 5 element. I noticed a big increase in reception and my power out jumped up to where it's supposed to be. I thought I had damaged my Yaesu! So much to learn!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
