My Galaxy 350 mobile amp is my primary base amp that I use on a power supply. I was talking today and it just shut down?
The preamp works & the relay will key up but theres no output? From visual inspection nothing burnt and theres no smell?

it has 2 of the 2879's in it!

Any ideas where to start?

Sounds like it could be on the input feed to the input transformer which would indicate to high of a input drive usually over 5 watts could burn that but without a pic or schematic I couldn't say for sure, BUT
If it's connected from the base of the transistor(2sc2879) to ground it would indicate that that transistor is blown.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
