Galaxy DX 33 no TX

Troubleshooting a Galaxy DX 33 for a friend. He said the radio worked sometimes but then would not TX on others.

I was checking the radio out and it seemed fine and then suddenly the problem he mentioned started happening. Radio will not flip over to TX, no red light, etc.

Mic circuit checks out okay, have audio to the PA.

Pulled D77 - showing 60 ohms

TR38 likely culprit?

TR38 and TR36 tested out okay. Possible D77 maybe still the problem, going to replace with 2 x 4148 in series and see.

Talked with Galaxy tech today - very helpful and great customer service, gave me some more options to check in solving this.

After taking a ton of voltage readings and testing a bunch of diodes found a bad trace. Not surprised for a dump truck radio. Pain in the ass.
