I have a 3/12 galaxy Dx919 showing 8 Watt deadkey, modulates through the talkback, Michael gain still adjustable on front but shows NO AUDIO OUTPUT on internal or external meter. N can NOT hear it on a receiving radio.. any ideas?? Thanks for any help or suggestions:angry:

galaxy dx 919 modulation issues

First blush would be either Q54 & Q55. With the speaker side cover off, you will find them in the back, right side of the radio near the power plug. Common failure points with those symptoms . . .

I'd just unsolder those transistor leads from the board and test each transistor as any other PNP transistor.
