Just purchased a Galaxy DX 94HP. I was wondering how the performance of these radios do on Sideband. Anyone with input I would appreciate it.

Mine does very well. I leave the Drive in the same place as I use it on AM, which is at 25 watt dead key level, and it swings to the full 150W on SSB from there.

It does have the minimal drift when radio is cold ….. after it's been on for 15-20 minutes it's quite stable.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
