I was thinking about getting a DX-959. A friend has a DX-959 and the transmit current in ssb, dead key, no modulation, is almost 3 amps. Is that normal? Right? Thanks

This is from the alignment procedure instructions for the non-Mosfet model. You didn't say which version your friend has. For the Mosfet model, you go to Galaxy DX Radios and email them for the alignment procedure on the new 959.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
