glad to see ya return ridgerunner! you're so right;been awhile!

i did finally get one too! i really like it.IMO,best "CB" base to

come along since the cobra 2000gtl! i tried the viagra board

and took it out,put slide switches underneath,towards center

front of rig.that viagra board wouldn't let me center back up on

frequency,plus i didn't like losing the use of my NB/ANL

functions! i tried the 10kc mod posted at cb.tricks and blew

the 10kc shift part of the PLL chip. found out from ray at

galaxy(tech),and rolling radio,that the wrong resistor value was

posted at that site! ray has sent me a new PLL,but it's

arrival is yet to be seen! anyways,i'll keep ya posted!!!

i got the PLL friday and just installed it today(sat)!

thanks to ray,she's up & runnin' again!!! yeeehawww!!!!

my slide switches underneath worked out well too.now i

have my extras and my 10kc switches all right there together!

kinda hidden but easily accessible and no more funky

lookin' toggles stickin' out of the side of the cabinet.

with this kinda support from (ray) galaxy tech service,i can

say i will be a faithful customer w/them from now on!!!

i know it's been out awhile now and was wondering if some

of you guys have had one and am interested in your opinions.

i am mainly interested in this rig for SSB use and the export

channels(cdx-home channel) and such.

is there a better way to mod for channels other than using the headphone jack,like using the ch9/ch19/norm switch

instead?how is the RX on SSB compared to some of the

other rigs and wattage and such? thanks for any and all input!
