I have an '05 Saturn Ion (don't laugh great gas mileage::redface:) and I can't find enough room to mount the radio any ideas would be appreciated. I have never run into this problem before. The radio is as big as the dash! LOL

IIRC, you instrument cluster is in teh center of the dash, off to the right?

Do you have room on the dash just above the steering wheel to velcro it there?

right under the radio or vertically on the hump next to the gear shift.

If you dont have the skills ( not saying you dont ) and want a clean install, have you thought about taking it to a shop that does custom stereo installs? It would take a little work and specialized equipment but the radio would look really cool right below the stereo.

Probably would not be to expensive.

i agree with king mudduck.but depending on the actual size of your radio
may fit under your stero...maybe.another is i seen these mounts at
customcbradios.com they mount to your seat bolt on floor and they
swivel.i think id try that first

Thanks for all of the suggestions I will post pics if I get this thing installed somewhere other than wedged between the passenger seat and the console. I may just get a different car I've been wanting a Cherokee or Land Rover!
