Best way is a 10 turn 20k Ohm pot and open the
clarifier up.
Also you will need a frequency counter like the TR, FC-390
wired direct, and a mod to it that lets it hold steady when
on transmitt.
Thats just shorting two pins inside the counter...
Trying to work SSB like it is now will make a guy want to
pull his hair out <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT="

BTW that plug on back that some think is a frequency counter
plug IS NOT....... so forget that thing.

what 2 pins do you short out in the freq???
got 1 hardwired in my 2980, could only get it within 2 on last digit but thats close enought..I know where i am, but it does jump some when tranx......
