GE Mobile replacement channel display

Hi Everyone,
I have a GE 3-5825A on the bench and some segments are out in the display. Has anyone replaced one and know of a good part number

Are you sure it's the display segments and not the resistors.

I am not sure. I will verify that. Do you know a good replacement for the channel display?

You may be working with some Unobtanium on your bench. If its not the resistors then you are following the correct logic in trying to find the display from a GE parts radio. Memory may not serve me correct, but I think that GE used some larger than average sized displays. I had the model that had a side mic and a slider for the mic gain, I always thought the display was bigger than on Cobra's or Unidens of the day. Best of Luck.

is this a two crystal or three crystal PLL02A SSB chassis?

we can probably find quite a few equivalent chassis that have service info available.

Older Cybernet radios (G.E./Midland/Lafayette) used Common Cathode LED channel displays, where Uniden/Cobra/RCI/ etc... use Common Anode.
