Local operator has this in his garage.
He plans to sell it at the local hamfest next weekend.
Anyone know what tubes are in it, how much power, and how much it can fetch?

Are you sure that's an amp and not an old AM transmitter? It has "Globe Champion" on it and not "Globe Commander". Globe Champion was a line of boat anchor AM transmitters made by the World Radio Labs. co They made the Globe King line as well. That looks like it may be an RF deck with a modulator deck on top. If it is a Globe Champion 300 then it would have AX9909 tubes in the RF deck which are very rare and obscure and they would be modulated by a pair of 809's. The Globe King 500 had a 4-400 in the RF and was modulated by a pair of 811A's. It looks like a transmitter set to me.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
