im gonna try tuning my radio whats a good inexpensive meter too start with ? i know cheap and good usally is hard too find but whats some kinds i can look for ? thanks jesse

good meter for a beginner ?

I stopped by radio shack today to get a meter and they didn't even have one. Asked if there was a store in town that might and the guy told me that they don't and that they aren't even on there store web site any more. Now I haven't checked the site yet but, it kinda torqued me just a tad. Now if I want to get a new meter I have to drive 30+ miles.

Ya as far as I know radio Shack don't sell most of the cb stuff no more like the old days..now 3/4 of the stuff is through there online store..and you can also call them for stuff out of the book..Crazy i say..
I have to agree on the crazy. Radio Shack used to have a buch of c.b. stuff. If I remember right, they use to sell some pretty good base station. Seems like that was a really long time ago.
