Grant clarifier

I did the same clarifier mod to a Grant that I did to my Grant XL's. Remove R44, D52, jump R174, clarifier wires to ground and 8.2V. It unlocked it, but didn't expand its range like my XL's. How do I get more slide?

HI,

There is a resistor across the varactor diode which also efffects it, change R149 (10KOhm) for a 20KOhm, it should give a bit more slide.
