Grant XL help

Hello!
This is the first time I've posted and I think some of you can help me. I had a power supply go bad and had several radios that received a shot of 24 volts. Now, if I try to power them up, they blow the fuse. One is a Philly Grant XL; the other is a early President Grant. I need some direction on what to change, look for, etc. The radios are not worth throwing a ton of money at (this means no repair shop), but I'd like to try and bring them back to life.
The only "test" equipment I have any more in a volt-ohm meter, but I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron, have a few parts rigs laying around the shop and can follow directions. Both radios had 7 1/2 amp fuses in them when they were damaged. Any help that you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, George

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
