I guess it depends on what you're going to do. If your main interest is program listening, then audio fidelity will be more important to you than if you're DXing for weak signals.
For program listening, it isn't a bad buy at that price (must be used at that price? if so, ask yourself why it's being sold that cheap). If you're DXing, the sony 2010 will dust it's britches, and can be had new for that kind of money.
The sat800's have some performance issues that are bad enough that the only independent reviewer of SWL radios (the folks that write and publish "Passport to Worldband Radio" ) had to check a second sample before giving it a kind of 'pass this one up' report. The sony ICF2010 still gets the best marks, overall.
