Update. It’s not a simplex repeater. It is a duplex. Don’t know how well it’ll work yet but we’ll see when it cools down a bit. I did get some info for the manufacturer and it had the settings on their site. It never seemed to repeat and I figured it was broken china crap. On a gamble I pulled out another trusty baofeng and nope it was duplexing. Hamgeek said it was a simplex parrot repeater. $100 on Walmart.com
