Handheld CB Radio/Working around the YARD QUESTIONS???

Since I'm a ham I don't mess with CB much.
My property size is One Acre
With little to no obstructions. If I bought 2
HH 38 WX ST Handheld CB's and added the Cobra CA-41
(27 inch Telescoping Antenna) to both.
Would that be OK for...
ON MY OWN PROPerty Communications?
I am Not expecting any major range here...
just working around the yard.

If it's just for around your property back to the house, I wouldn't bother about after market antennas, the 'duck' should do that reasonably well. Corner to corner shouldn't be over a 100 yards, right?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
