I think what you have there is an old crystal scanner which means you have to buy crystals for the frequencies you wantand install them on the inside of the radio. I could be wrong though.

whoever owned this had a stiker on the side of it with hand written freqencies. police, fire, etc. kinda gives me the idea its programmable. it does work though but no idea how to program it.

yep. you guys are right. it has crystals with the freqs stamped on them. this must be an oldy!!

that is an old unit for sure, but when they first came out, people did not know what to do!! It was amazing to hear your local law office and what was going on around town!!! Just think of what is out there today! time fly's people!!!!

hey, 211 i found a place that still sells those crystals. might get the police freq for the old man if they have the right one.
