help w/ tuning & mods for older radio

I have two different radio's in question.

1.I have jc penny 40 channel model 6218 does anyone have

the board layout, I'am also looking for mods and tuning

information ..

2. Also have a cobra 134 w/ssb and it has a different type of

mic jack was wondering if I could put in a 4 pin jack,

also can I add channels to this radio, What kind of mods

are available, It's only a 23 channel but It's in great shape.

Any help would be great THANKX IN ADVANCE

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
