i have a picture that i want to show as a avatar but it keeps saying it wont fit and no idea how to fix,,,any one can help?

Hi welcome to WWDX and to "How to fix your "little Red Wagon" ...
First obtain the following parts....
Screwdriver,
Adjustable Wrench,
Sledgehammer...
a little Red Wagon - preferably your own...
Skreech -Scratch Scratch scratch
I just use paint and squeeze down the pic using Image Resize to 169 X 169 pixels - and save a gif seems to finally make it small enough to work...
You can then upload or use a Gravitar - whatever that means...

Make a Graphic...
High School photo is ok too...
And then resize it to 169 X 169
Then go to your name on the top of the page you see now...
With your "generic" logo...
Click on it to show you...
Click on the Generic Graphic and then the page changes to your profile page...
Then Click on that Generic Pic
And
You'll see a popup window of Avatar Editor...
