My neighbor had bought a used Cobra 29LTD its the chrome model with the silver or chrome and black hand microphone. The mic is not working wires were pulled off in the mic plug.

I soldered them all back on I basically redid the ends to the plug its still not working I just want to make sure this is done corectly my wiring books show different wiring colors than this new radio.

The mic is a 4 pin and has 4 wires with none of them being black this is where I am confused because my books call for a black wire. This is what I have and how its wired is this correct?

1 sheild
2 Audio - White
3 TX - Red
4 RX - Blue

Try starting a new thread in the Amplifier section and asking the question, more people will see it to respond.
