Docroc, likewize..I was trying to program 10m frequencies and 27mhz into the radio and I just could not get it to upload. maybe there is a work around but it seems you have hit the same wall I came up against. I did not go much further after I removed all sections above 28.305 and found it uploaded. I was hoping they would fix this. Two major deficiencies with the cree...any splits have to be programmed prior and no memories which makes it a bit more fiddly to use than the Optima or Ranger 29xx radios.
The Optima (and S-45/257 varients) automatically sets/saves the correct mode in the memories. Makes life a lot easier in the mobile...
