mumbled on the forum years ago in some obscure thread by someone....
Steve built good amps, most people abused them and I understand his "don't want to do it anymore" thing You can get burnt out
He rebuilt a 600 or a 800 for Jim (399) several years ago and I have not heard anything else of him.
