HOLY CRAP!!! Need a radio?????

I know all those 11 meter guys out there and thats 1 hour from me and all the junk HF rigs and CB radios sold in my area come from over there amd Kakauna Wi there all in kahoots with oneanother get hammered while tuning tweeking and blowing crap up then sell it to the next guy who also digs in it. You may get a few working ( 23 ) channel radios because they have interest only in the 40 channel radios to work their golden fingers, screwdrivers and miller can infested brains into.

I can assure you they are on here because EVERYONE here in Wisconsin knows these guys and knows better. The one guy that does the so called repairing has messed up every radio he has got his mits on and those radios who belonged to several people I know are now on parts piles scattered allover Wisconsin.

Just advice STAY AWAY!!!

Sorry but I don't see that pile of radios being worth $600. Guy must be hitting the pipe awful good and added an extra zero in the price.

At least there aren't floodwater marks on the wall in the radio storage area. That's about the only plus I can see. I hope no one from this forum buys that lot......not looking forward to hundreds of "How to fix this radio" threads.

It might be worth it for parts radios. I see a lot of 23ch radios there I did not see anything that caught my eye

Agree. It's likely a gold mine of parts but no way is all that stuff worth $600- especially if I have to go and pick it up!

The finals from those radios, assuming that 40% of those radios have a good C1306, or a C1306/C1307 pair in them is worth the price. If I had the space, I'd buy the lot, and start pulling finals.

~Cheers~

Sold for $400....Another way to look at it, is if you had bought any two of those radios when they were new, you would have spent more for those two radios, than what this whole lot sold for....

Most are probably junk, but I'll bet who ever bought the lot, will go threw them, maybe fix some of the nicer ones, and resell them on eBay and make a killing!
