hi all,

im hoping to get justin to dispense some wisdom about this classic chassis.

his advice for my 2000gtl was great!
(justin, i love the mod, and now all my 8719 radios have it. thanks!)

i am now restoring one of my 139XLR's and i would like to know what your audio mod advice is for this radio.
any other mods for any other sections of the radio would be much appreciated also.

thanks in advance for any help justin, or any other members can offer.
(i know this subject has probably been covered many times before, so if anyone has a link, that would be great.)

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
