If heat is being generated in the drivers and finals than it is trying to transmit and the heat is evidence of that!
Never seen an export wanabe amateur radio from China or a CB with SWR PWR fold back!!! This is not made by Tokyo Hypower or JRC in Japan! LOL
Heat especially extreme in the parts is all the proof you need that it is transmitting! Plus he mentioned that the unit was drawing a lot of current and that the power wires where also hot which would not happen if the power was being folded back due to high SWR or if the transmitter had timed out!
I do not need to see the bullet leave the rifle to know it was fired. The sound of the rifle and an obvious impact down range is enough for a reasonable person to understand the rifle was fired. It is silly to assume someone rigged up pyrotechniques and set up a solonoid/actuator to move the target down range and timed it all right!
Not a perfect world and Youtube is not a college or university electronics lab. It really comes down to if you assume everyone is a liar and trying to decieve you or not.
I am often too lazy to take things apart far enough to get good photo's unless I am already needing to take something apart completly to work on it.
