how to hook up yaesu ft1200dx and ameritron al-811

how do hook up a ft1200dx and a Al -811
1) do i need to hook the tx and the ampli if the output tx is<70w -RELAY-
2) if yes how to do
i have the cable ct-118 ( yaesu) but he only match with the ampli yaesu vl-1000
(see jpg)
at the back of the al-811 the input relay needs a jack
do i need to fix (cut) the ct-118 to put a jack(s)
and which pin(s) on the ct-118
i should be much obliged to see your "light"

Pin 1 on the hookup cable needs to be wired to the center pin of an RCA connector, and Pin 2 needs to be wired to the shield. If you want to hookup the ALC, it will be pin 9 to the center of another RCA connector and pin 3 to the shield. Hope that helps.
 
You should really find someone locally who knows what they are doing. It doesn't sound like you have much if any experience with amplifiers and this one has dangerous voltages inside. Be very careful.
 
the cable ct-118 has two outputs
one for the full automatic amp's
the other is a cich and can be connected to the al811 (relay)
