How to remove photos

How do I clean out my old photos on my profile page?

I found that you can go to the albums page and delete the album, but not single photos.

Click on the photo you want to delete to open it. Look at the top of the image and find the EDIT button. Place the cursor on it and a drop-down window will open . At the bottom is the word DELETE. Click that and a window will open giving you options to permanently delete it or just remove from public view.
