my friend has one from back in the day. he is starting to talk on the cb again and wants to hook it back up. the only problem is he can't remember how to tune it. Can someone give me direction for tuning it.

Set the Driver Plate Tuner at half mesh, on the final stage, fully close the LOAD tuner and set the Final Plate tuner at half mesh.
QUICKLY, key it and tune the driver for a peak on your watt-meter (key for no longer than 3-5 seconds until you have max).
QUICKLY, key and tune the Final plate for maximum on the watt-meter (3-5 seconds) next, do the same thing with the Final Load tuner.
You are now in the Ballpark, you can add audio to your signal and tune each knob for max.
