HR 2600 Mod

Never really messed with these but i understand there eprom is diff. than that of the 2510 and they can not be modded without a chipswitch. Is that true?

Yes it's true I have owned the HR 2600 and you do need the chipswitch for the frequency mod.

Yupp the 2600 was a tad of a different breed. ROGERBIRD can set you up.

-you can use the chip from a 2510, too, if you have a junker . they're on ebay sometimes, too.
