HR2600 TX problem

I just got my HR2600 back from Doc's. I hooked everything up and I have a carrier on my meter buy 0 modulation/voice. I can register a carrier but my voice goes no where and I have 0 swing. I think I have a bad mic but have no way of testing it. Has anyone ever had this problem on a radio? I haven't called Doc yet because I think it is my microphone and not his work. I am looking for a 5 pin to 4 pin that will work on this radio to test it with a different mic.

Any suggestions?
 

Problem solved! It was indeed a bad mic. I unsoldered the president mic from the 5 pin connector and soldered a cobra 4 pin back on and voila I had modulation. 8)

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
