The Hurricane Watch Net (HWN) is closely watching Tropical Storm Erika. At 1800 UTC today, Erika was some 60 miles southwest of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and about 305 miles south east of Great Inagua Island, with maximum sustained winds of 50 MPH.
