i have one,,, with the hyrange vfo ,,, nine pin plug in back for vfo,,, mine is wired with a switch to turn the transmit on the vfo on and off,,, one way to tell the iv has the plug socket is the mike plug is 4 pin and not 5 pin din,,,
The Hygain 4, 673 model had the vfo socket, Most of the time the non A or B version's had the socket
