Ok, can you back up a little bit, give us a shot of most of the board so we can see the rest of it.
And you are pointing to the grey wire, or the component in front of it?
I can not tell if it is a diode or a large resistor.
Maybe a shot of the whole board, then a couple with a slight angle from different views.
Is the Amp working all all or dead?
Can you follow where the wire is hooked up on the other end?

Hmm... I have a Hy-Watt 150 right here in my lap... it doesn't look anything like the one you have. Defintely going to need a full board shot before i can help you.

~Cheers~

yes i'm pointing to the grey wire next to the choke it seems it goes to the on and off switch but i want to be sure it does i don't want to blow it up
there was a burnt trace on the bottom of the board but still the led won't come on and i tested it and it is good.

ok here are more pictures the white wire replaces the burnt trace that was on the bottom the grey wire to the switch is the one in question.??

Ok, the grey wire solders to where the red positive wire is soldered. that is indeed the wire to the power switch. Looks like that choke got burned to a crisp too, most likely from being over-driven by the radio's output.

~Cheers~
