got a 22" shaft single coil on my truck and it blows smoke. i was a 102" nut before i tried one of these. i think these things have lower radiation patterns and cant get any lower swr's!!

Lower vswr than a 102" whip with no feedpoint matching network, yes. Lower angle of radiation compared to a 102" whip, nope.
