A V8000?

I don't think it will.

You can hit the T Scan (tone scan) button, and it'll tell you the PL of a repeater while it's transmitting. It'll stop for a while on the PL in use.
 
Thanks 2M Guy, I do use the T-Scan feature but sometimes it just keeps going. Is this when there is no code? I know one repeater in my area that has a code but when I T-Scan it never locks on it, I need to manually put it in.

That repeater may be set up to not retransmit the PL tone so that would be why your radio cannot find the proper tone while scanning.Most repeaters will retransmit the tone but some will not.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
