I know a lot of hams will groan about this but the information on the radio is widespread already on the internet. I was a little torn on whether to mention this radio but hopefully it will promote some new ham or at the very least some better radio practices.
In any case for the price used (I picked one up for $400) it's a nice radio.

thanks for the time and effort (and investment) to get and share your results with us . any chance you can do a AM and SSB audio comparison of it vs. a 2950dx ? i know its not gonna be a audio monster , but would a power mic wake it up some ? something like a D104 , a turner SSK or maybe even (forgive me) a 2018 xtreme ?
