Is it hard to rerwire a Mic?

I have never done this before. I have a four pin SRA-158-4h i would like to use on my s9. I tried it on the radio but is does not work..

Is it hard? Not if you do some research. You need to know at least something about both the radio's circuitry and the mic's circuitry, dig out those schematics.
There are two 'parts' to wiring a mic. There's the audio section and then there's the switching or keying section. Take a look at what the mic's circuitry offers and what is required by the radio. Then it's just a matter of making one 'fit' the other to do what's required. Simple, ain't it? Well, sort of?
